About Us
I have been racing motocross for 10 years but my family have been involved in the sport for over 40 years. My grandad, Ken Marriott was secretary for the YMSA in the early 70's and helped form 3 AMCA clubs in Leicestershire through the 70's and 80's, the Leicester Hunters, Coalville Moto Club and Shepshed Moto Club, all three are still running today. My dad, Howard Marriott, was chairman of the Shepshed Club for a number of years, raced at AMCA expert level and continues to coach and support me.

With the help of my dad we have formed the BWMA primarily to give all the girl motocrossers in the UK a genuine British Championship and, as the organisation develops, help to improve the sport for girls in the future.

We want to create a structure where we can provide a platform for the top British girls to become a force to be reckoned with on the World Stage and all girls to reach their full potential. Most of all to enjoy the sport.

The Championship
We have done this by affilliating ourselves to the AMCA and provide a pathway to the IMBA European Championships allowing the best girls in the UK to compete against the best in Europe and from this onto the World Championships.

The MotoX Club
We will be actively looking for ongoing support for the Championship and members of the BWMA will automatically become members of 'The MotoX Club' where all the products of our sponsors will be available to buy. You will earn loyalty points for discount on future purchases as our continued commitment to helping all our riders.

Go to the MotoX Club website where clothing and training advise is also available. www.themotoxclub.co.uk

We hope you support us and we welcome your feedback to further improve the BWMA and womens motocross in the UK
